Sorry for the long absence everyone! I have missed Aye Aye. Here is my final for my ceramics class, which focused on casting. I made bread, made a plaster mold from it, made clay bread from that, made clay molds from that, and baked bread in the clay molds in my oven, after sealing them with canola oil baked into the clay for hours at 400 degrees. The surfaces are made with butter and buttermilk and oil. So, you see here three bread positives, one bread negative, six ceramic positives, and three ceramic negatives. There are four plaster molds, (three negatives, one positive) that are not pictured.

5-minute doodle, but at least it's something I tried to imagine my drawing pose looking down from above.
Well at least I actually drew it today. If Benedict were a character on Battlestar Galactica, his callsign would be Slacker.
to make up for yesterday: Working more on the motorcyle pic. Looks more like a motorcycle now. Also, some green peppers, which are like alien hearts, because occasionally you'll come across these little mini-peppers...or mini...bean-shaped pepper things inside of them, like those twins that you hear about halfway formed inside peoples' bodies. YEAH.
No drawing today either, here's one from a couple weeks ago for Kendra.
my church in Harrisonburg wants me to design a stained-glass window for them (supposedly). This is just a doodle. I was thinking about the shell as an outline with a swirly waters of creation thingy going on inside.
Vampire and all around not-a-morning person, Benedict tends to sleep late and deep. Florian, bored, hits upon the absolutely hilarious idea to draw a mustache on him before he wakes up. Benedict is clueless.

Wow, what a difference using a tablet/photoshop on a desktop comp makes! My laptop is so slow nowadays, and the monitor size is a headache to work with compared to using Patrick's old iMac (read: only 2 years old compared to my 5 year laptop). Anyway, maybe I won't hate working in Photoshop now? Here's a Deena from Animal Crossing: Wild World. SHE'S THE BEST, SLUSHIE!
I like this one better, but what in the world am I going to do with those empty ovals???
Congratulations to Reirei!
Man, this would've looked better if I didn't get retarded and decide to add colors. Coworker wanted a pic (in the vein of my numbermachine self portrait) and uh, yeah it's lame and the colors really make it suck. TOO BAD, IT'S MY AYE AYE FOR THE DAY ANYWAY.
don't like the way the colors came out on this one >:O so I'm coloring a different one now.
I tried my hand at one of the Winchester brothers. Hopefully it's obvious which one. Stylized!
Didn't draw today, random doodle from a couple weeks ago:
This type of paper leaves glitter on my FACE. Under another cut; if you're name begins with 'B' and ends with 'ridget', don't ( click )
(EDITED) Sam practice. Uh, yeah, S1 Sam does look a bit like Florian. But it's Sam. EDIT: After watching tonight's episode, I decided to put a little more time into this.
This might be for someone who reads aye aye, so if your name begins with 'J' and ends with 'essi B', do not click behind the cut plz. ( PROCEED OTHERWISE )

Working on a stencil, wonder if you tell what movie actor this is (answer in the filename). The version I'm printing to cut out is slightly different, some lines made wider and also 'bridges' removed from large black areas that I will fill in with a brush after I peel the stencil off the shirt. (The stencil would definitely fall apart otherwise.) He doesn't look as good without his slouchy shoulders, but I didn't have enough space for them, + the large black areas to form his coat would probably make the shirt too stiff.
inked! I think I will color this in yellows and oranges.
